attorney FAQs
- Q: How do you assess my client's condition?
- A: We conduct a thorough and careful assessment of each patient's condition and treatment goals. Following this whole body evaluation, we provide a clearly documented report that includes our prognosis for the client's ability to regain their prior level of function. We include specific outcome measures that we use to assess their progress toward discharge. We also offer the Matheson Functional Capacity Evaluation for cases requiring a comprehensive and objective analysis of your client's condition, abilities and disabilities.
- Q: Do you work on lien cases?
- A: We do and look forward to talking with you about the options for your clients. Phone us to discuss specific cases.
- Q: What is your reporting system?
- A: We write treatment reports following each client visit to assess their progress and determine how to proceed. We understand that healing is not always a straight upward trajectory so are careful to document set backs as well as progress and continually update the client's prognosis. All reports are clear, typed and sent to you on a regular basis.
- Q: Can you testify as a witness?
- A: Yes, we are often called upon to provide expert witness testimony in injury and trauma cases.
- Q: Do you coordinate between attorneys and clients' doctors?
- A: We frequently work with attorneys and physicians to strengthen settlement negotiation documents with clear and concise reports from evaluation to final analysis of the patient's condition.
